O-RED Scrimmages

Today we had a few scrimmages in Wagnor, Ok. It was a HOT day, and sort of miserable....but we survived. We meet up at 7am to be at the fields but 8am for the boys to be ready to play by 9am. After it was all said and done all the parents were sweaty, and I was burnt...lol =) I love this time of the year.....I am so happy to be apart of the O-RED Family!!  Go O-RED ----RAM PRIDE!

Car Wash 7th Grade Cheer

Today was a great day to have a car wash fundraiser for Owasso 7th Grade Cheer. This was one of the first years I actually got to participate because Kayla wasn't in Seattle visiting her Dad. We have a really big squad this year, so far the count is 46 girls. We are really looking foward to having a wonderful last and final year cheering for FOR. Next year Ms. Kayla will have to try-out to be on a cheer squad. So, this year is bitter sweet.

Oh, but she got him....HA!

Ya, the next WWE Colby the Colbster....lol =)

He thought this water toy was really neat-O!!

He is determined ain't he....
Sweet, I got the picture this time!! Yea, Me!!
I love this picture.....look at the anticipation on his face.
What are you doing Kayla? Wow, you trying to fly or something.....Kayla is SuperGirl incognito.....lol =)
Ok, this is a funny story.......the kids decided to go and swing on the swing set for a little bit....and Colby I guess tried to jump off the swing.....next thing I know Kayla is running over to me laughing so hard....I said "what is so funny".....she says "uh, look at Colby." Colby is walking really slowly at me pointing to his face.....I said "what is going on"....he said "I fell on my face and ate the sand"....I said, "oh, you bit the dust huh" he said "yep, and it don't taste very good" lol =)
Washing the sand off......and I am still laughing....
Ms. Kayla (my zebra girl)
I have raised my kids to live in a bubble....lol Just kidding! =)

Well as many of you might know Shawn is working a second job at the hospital I work at in the evenings. So, the kids and I have to find things to make us not miss Dad too terribly bad. This night we decided to go and have a picnic at the park that has a splash pad. It was so much fun. Colby looked at me while eating dinner at the picnic table and said "Mom, can we make this a date night every Wednesday night." I think we just might if the rain will ever quit. No more storms please!! Anywho, we had a great time. I truly enjoyed watching my kids enjoy themselves after a long hard day of school and work. Good Times!! =)

Colby at the Skate Park

Shawn teaching Colby how to position his legs so he doesn't fall off
Look!? He did it.....Yea, baby!

Today we decided to take Colby and his little friends to the local skate park. WE had a lot of fun watching Colby on his skate board. He is actually pretty good, for an eight year old he can stay on the board and not fall off. Pretty darn good if you ask me. He actually went down a ramp standing.....needless to say MOMMY was very proud, and nervous!

Kayla's 13th Birthday Party

Kayla getting surpised with her new bike

Today is a day that was filled with joy, excitement, relief, anxiety, and sadness all in one. Joy and excitement because I am finally happy to have a teenager because that means I am almost done raising kids....lol. Relief because I can't believe we have made it this far. Blessed to have been a mother to a wonderful daughter for 13 years. Anxiety because I am a 30 year old with a teenager, and personally am not ready to be labeled "OLD". Last but not least SAD because my baby is no longer a baby, and I can't phathom that in 5 more short years she will be an adult (18), and my baby will be all grown. =( All in all I am blessed, I mean we are all blessed to have such a wonderful, precious, and beautiful daughter with such a warm and tender heart. She is the apple of my eye, the sun of my day.....she is so precious, and I know she is going to be an outstanding TEENAGER!! We love you Miss Kayla....very much!!
